Notice how restaurant owners and/or their employees go all giddy and happy when a white guy walks into their establishment? Does it bother you that the owners and the employees seem to favor the white guy while ignoring you all together? Annoying isn’t it? Does it make you want to into an uncontrollable rage which ends up with you breaking your drinking glass on the owner’s or the employees’ heads? (Seriously though don’t do that you’ll get yourself in a real shitty situation) What I am about to tell you, folks is the truth and nothing but the truth.
Situation 1:
My brother, my mom and I decide to go out for a family dinner at an Indian restaurant. We came in and placed our orders. Next to us, two white guys were having their dinner as well. Suddenly, the owner appears out of nowhere like a stealthy ninja. He proceeds to ask the white guys how they find their food, explaining to them in detail about how awesome his restaurant is and generally being a pest. (Shouldn’t he let the white guys eat their food in peace instead of pestering them like that?). The owner largely ignores most of the tables and vaguely asks us if we like the food. The waitress couldn’t even give a simple “you’re welcome” to my brother when he thanked her for bringing us the menus and the food, neither did she smile at us. Instead she was smiling from ear to ear while serving the white guys even going far as to utter the words she refused to even say to us, “you’re welcome”.
Situation 2:
My brother and I decided to get some sandwiches from a famous sandwich restaurant which originated from the USA. So while my brother is telling the employees what he wants on his sandwich and what he doesn’t want, a (yep you guessed it) white guy walks in. Immediately the employee seems distracted, he smiles at the white guy, and generally seems like he is suddenly high on drugs. My brother had to give his order for a mushroom soup 3 times before the moronic employee heard my brother. The idiot was probably too distracted by the white guy to bother about my brother. (ooohhhh look man omg a white guy, holy shit, is that a rare species of ape?)
The moral of this article is, please employees and owners of restaurants and eateries, be fair when serving your customers. After all, the locals pay exactly the same as the westerners.
